Levels and contents
Our courses range from level A1 to level C2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference. At the end of a course you will receive both a certificate of attendance and, on request, a certificate of proficiency between A1 and C2.
Our course classifications are as follows:
A1/A2:
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases, e.g. personal and family information, shopping, work, local area. Can describe in simple terms own background and education, immediate environment and things related to immediate needs.
B1:
Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can describe personal experiences and events in simple terms. Can describe personal experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons or explanations for plans and opinions.
B2:
Can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. Can communicate with sufficient fluency and spontaneity to enable normal conversation with native speakers without strain for either party.
C1/C2:
Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for words. Can use the language effectively and flexibly in social and professional life or in training and study.
